Quality Management System

JIS Q 9001 (ISO9001)

Showa Aircraft Industry Co., Ltd. (SAIC) acquired JIS Q 9001 certification for its quality management systems, beginning in July 1998 for aircraft-related products, followed by special purpose vehicles and service vehicles in July 1999, and honeycomb core and composite products in July 1999.
In addition, in July 2010, SAIC completed the transition to the JIS Q 9001:2008 (ISO 9001:2008) quality management system standard and acquired certification under it.


JIS Q 9100

In September 2003, SAIC also obtained certification under the JIS Q 9100 aerospace quality management system for aircraft equipment and airframe components as well as maintenance support equipment, honeycomb core materials for aerospace applications, and composite material airframe parts.
In July 2010, SAIC completed the transition to the JIS Q 9100:2009 for aerospace quality management system standard and obtained certification under it.


ISO14001

To Environmental Activities/Social Service Activities

SAIC has acquired certification under the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems at our Akishima Plant.
